Cancelled Gig

Unfortunately our last gig was cancelled at very short notice on Saturday night (27th November). We are very sorry to anyone who was on their way to come see us, but it was just one of those things that was out of our control.

EDL demonstrators had decided to protest in Nuneaton town that same afternoon and because of this, the venue we were due to perform in was asked by the police to temporarily shut down for the night to stop any potential violence.
We are disappointed that our first gig back after 2 months had been cancelled but we hope to get some more bigger, better gigs coming your way very soon.

Ooo, and… don’t forget and EP is due out soon as well! Watch this space!

EP/Demo on its way!

Free Or Nearest Offer are pleased to announce that the first part of recording (drums) has been completed. After the bass, guitar and vocals are completed and the tracks have been mastered you're welcome to place an order! :D It should only be a few weeks guys!

The Queen's Hall

The Queen’s Hall was buzzing last night after its headline act, Free Or Nearest Offer, blew the audience away with another exciting performance.

It was F.O.N.O’s first gig at The Queen’s Hall in Nuneaton and it was one that will be remembered. The crowd went wild for F.O.N.O’s original and cover songs in particular their cover of ‘Teenage Dirtbag’, which had the audience singing along as well as mini mosh pit at one point.
Thanks to everyone who was there, you all make it so worth while and we look forward to seeing you all again at our future gigs.

Glastonbudget

Another night at The Shed, in Leicester, saw four acts perform for a place at Glastonbudget 2011. Sadly none of the acts made it through (yet), due to the organisers wanting tribute acts.

Free Or Nearest Offer put on a stunning 30 minute performance with lead singer, Liv, shining through as always. In particular, F.O.N.O’s original song, ‘Drop’, was amongst the bands best performances to date, which captivated the entire audience.

Funky Night!

Funk was the theme of the evening at The Shed last (Saturday) night with SugaBeat, Jasper Cain, Alter Eden as well as Free Or Nearest Offer all performing live. Although a modest turnout, the audience certainly appreciated the wide range of music that was on offer. “We all had a really great time… Free Or Nearest Offer were certainly my favourite of the night.” said one lively audience member.

@ The Shed

Free Or Nearest Offer were in top form again tonight at The Shed in Leicester City centre. F.O.N.O gave a roaring performance as the first band on in tonights 'Winner takes all' Competition vs The Black Tears, Panda Youth and Broken Eyes.

BARLEY SHA-MOW-NE!

A fantastic evening was had by all tonight, as Free Or Nearest Offer opened tonight’s gig at 'The Barley Mow' in Leicester City centre. After kicking off their set with 'Long Train Running', F.O.N.O performed an exciting rendition of their newly rehearsed cover of 'Bad'.
"Big 'thank you' to all you guys who came out specially to see us and also to the audience who received us so well. Cheers!"

WHAT A GIG!

Thanks for all who came to the gig tonight!!! We thought it went down a treat and were thrilled to see so many faces staring back at us while we were playing (some people even looked like they enjoyed it lol). We look forward to the next gig and to see you all again real soon!!

F.O.N.O TO PLAY 1ST HOME GIG

On Wednesday 21st July Free Or Nearest Offer will be playing their first home gig at the Railway Tavern in Nuneaton. It will be an intimate gig and will all start off with our support act 'Aaron & Learna' at 8.30pm and finish with F.O.N.O. Make sure you are there!
